All the uselless stuff(mower stuff) has been removed. Its been repainted twice. First time was uneven and no good. | Ive taken alot of my stock mowers down in the mud- my lil 70 toro with a 5HP briggs did surprisingly good in the mud, my 85 craftsman did pretty good as well- my latest ( well when i go up north) is a 80's agway ( murray) for a stock 10HP , 3 speed and stock tires - it does pretty good, least till y get in the really thick mud. 70 toro: 85 LT12 craftsman ( old pic): 80's agway ( before it became a mud machine): |

| Mine was my Al-Ko (noma built). Most of you wont recognise it in this photo.
This was the original hood. Im not a fan of plastic though, so picked up a used MTD hood from ebay. The brush bar was some old bike handlebars. Its main purpose was to hold the plastic hood on, as the hinges were broken. The wheels started off white too. Had to get new (20x10x8) rear tyres and a new front wheel (other one was bend and welded and generally useless). Wish I;d got aggressive tyres to start with, but I wasnt planning on it being a mudding machine back then. |

| Yepper Chunk- thats a dynamark ... the 'newest ' ( or last style). I hear y about plastic- my 94 murray had a plastic grille that was broken- even using epoxy couldnt hold it together- i have an unbroken one off my black 94 murray that im keeping safe in the shed- for now, least till i get time to work on it. |

| ha yeah i hate those plastic hoods too,the front of my hood is made out of plastic, and the bottom part cracked so we used opoxy and the aluminum plate to hold it together. it's held up so far for around a year now. |

| I actually mis-read the thread. Thought it said what was your first off road tractor. Ah well, this will be my best. My best stocker was my AYP Rally, dunno why it did so good, but it did. Mind you, my Murray 8/30RER did amazingly well too, the diff didnt seem to slil alot, and it had one totally bald tyre |

| The front tires were so much bigger, it wouldn't have sat level. You would have felt like you were always going uphill. I could have lifted the rear more, but it wouldn't have increased my ground clearance at all. Ive often thought about rebuilding it, But I like it the way it is. |

| Oh ok. I like them when they sit just a little higher in the front than in the back. I have a freind with a 1994 Z71 with 36's with no lift and a 3 inch drop in the back. May sound stupid but it's actually kinda cool. |

| Out of the mowers I have, my Case has to be on the top for mudding. I use it to carry fill to the edge of my property, and the area I go threw is really muddy in the spring. This tractor has never gotten stuck yet. I have chains on the rear tires. |
