Looks like a GT type tractor with the larger rear wheels - if it runs - its worth $100 ( id see if theyd take a smaller amount tho- doesnt hurt).

Yeah ive had a few of those - i posted a thing on freecycle for tractors - some guy called and sed he had one, then we couldnt meet on a time for me to get it and then he was like a total arse about it. I never got it . It was allright tho- next day i got calls on two other tractors in town for free. Ive been ripped before too- paid $200 for 2 tractors- both were pieces of crap - id have to say those were my buyers regret.

Some people will haggle- some wont - almost depends on thier disposition when you talk to em , i usually go a lil low then work my way up slightly - if its real cheep ( under $50) i wont haggle at all- sometimes you can score more stuff too.

Last tractor i got was a few miles from the house- he wanted $25 for it - so i checked it out and was talking to the guy and he sed " so you tinker with tractors- i have this old craftsman you can have as well " - also scored a parts motor too.

Havent seen any great deals like that for like 2 years.

$100 would have been good for that if it ran. They're tough tractors, 4 speed cast iron rear ends with 1" axles. Got one in my garage
