| Okay, so Ive always been under the impression that input shafts on peerless trannys were 3/4 inch. Turns out Im wrong, got a pulley today, and its too big. Does anyone know the exact size of the input shafts?

| I thought it was closer to 5/8"... I don't know for sure though. I've always had to make my own. |

| Yeah it looks like 5/8s. I fear im gonna have a problem getting a correct pulley, they dont seem to do that size. I can easily make the tractor 1:1 ratio, but I want a little more. _________________ If it ain't broke, you ain't driving it hard enough!

| I have almost a 1:1 ratio, actually a little less.(slower) And I only use 2nd or 3rd, at the most in the mud. If im in 4th or 5th, im crusin. But 1st is still good for the rocks, any faster and I feel like I'd be using the clutch alot more. |

| I just want that little bit extra speed, just to hit 20mph. With 6 gears, Ive got a good selection to choose from _________________ If it ain't broke, you ain't driving it hard enough!

| I always thought input shafts were 5/8 or 3/4- some are splined, some use keyways - weird how many different kinds are around.
Usually to make sure i get the right size- i bring the part with me to the store- ill do that when i get my exhaust adapters n stuff at the autoparts. |
